In this privacy policy, I explain how I (Aunt Seline, owner of www.desnoepvriendjes.nl) deal with personal data that you leave on my website and in my online store, deliberately or otherwise. I am required by Dutch and European law (the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR) to offer you a clear explanation.
What is personal data?

How does www.desnoepvriendjes.nl process your personal data?
Personal data is all the information about you that can be traced back to you as an individual. For example: your name, home address, and e-mail address, but also your bank account number and your IP address.
If you are only visiting my website, you will remain anonymous and I will not collect your personal data, share it with anyone else or sell it. Naturally, this changes once you decide to order something through my online store. In that case, I need a number of details from you, making you traceable. I save this personal information for one year. I do not disclose it to, share it with, or sell it to anyone else.
Creating an account
When you order something in my online store, you have the option to create an account. The advantage of this is that you do not have to re-enter personal information, such as your name and address, when you place another order in the future. Your account data will be saved for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time.
Storage of your e-mail address
If you contact me at tanteseline@desnoepvriendjes.nl with a question, feedback, a complaint, or any other information, I will save your e-mail for one year. If you place an order, I will use your contact information to keep you informed about it. I do not share your e-mail address or sell it to anyone else. Nor do I use it to send you newsletters or inform you about special offers. If my customers show an interest in such information, this policy may change in the future.
Does www.desnoepvriendjes.nl use cookies?
A cookie is a small piece of data that is sent and saved to your computer, laptop, or smartphone when visiting a website or online store. I use only functional and analytical cookies. I do not use cookies to track you on the internet.
Functional cookies help the website to work properly, so that I provide a better customer experience. For example, the contents of your shopping cart are saved for two weeks if you do not place an order immediately. This may come in useful if you decide to visit my website again at a later date.
Analytical cookies tell me, for example, how many people visit my website and online store. This is important information for me because, among other things, they help me to improve the site and store.

What about the personal data of children younger than 16 years of age?
www.desnoepvriendjes.nl offers products intended primarily for children. However, I do not collect information about children who visit my website and online store. Also, in principle no-one under the age of sixteen can order anything without the permission of a parent or guardian.
Which rights do you have concerning your personal data?

- Right to rectification. You have the right to rectify inaccurate personal data, or to add to it if it is incomplete.
- Right to data portability. You have the right to receive, in a readable format, personal data that you have provided previously and the right to transmit this data to a third party.
- The right to be forgotten. You have the right to request deletion of your personal data if it is incorrect, inadequate, or no longer relevant.
